What a dream! My spouse and I booked the whole Magnolia Hotel to lodge our family traveling from out town during our wedding weekend. Working with Jeff was a breeze to make sure all our family’s needs were met. We had access to all 12 rooms, all communal spaces, all 3 kitchens and the outdoor patio. The hotel is gorgeous, so divinely decorated, the beds are SO comfortable and we love that each room has its own private bathroom. The price was super for the value of the experience. The family decided this is our new reunion destination! 10/10 for this gorgeous, modern boutique hotel. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Homemade oatmeal, granola, peanut butter and jam, local bread, fresh fruit cups, yogurt parfaits, hard boiled eggs, assorted milks, coffee and tea. It felt incredibly safe. Each room has their own keypad lock. This hotel is a block’s walk to the main street in Jacksonville and one block from the local grocery store. Literally two blocks from downtown (and an amazingly delicious coffee shop). We walked everywhere.

Our team stayed at Magnolia for a 3-day retreat and had the best time. Jeff, the owner, was so great to work with and setup so many wonderful things. Despite Jacksonville being a very long drive for most of us, everyone already said they want to come back next year. That’s how you know it’s good! Luxury · Great view · Quiet · Great value · High-tech. Breakfast was simple but delicious. The nonprofit I work for hosted a weekend-long retreat at the Magnolia Hotel for our board and staff and the hotel was FANTASTIC! Buying out the hotel for a work retreat was truly an excellent experience. The rooms were wonderful, the location is unbeatable, and there was plenty of space for meetings, break outs, and social events, which the hotel staff helped to plan and execute beautifully. Every detail was so thoughtfully laid out for our group! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for corporate events, retreats, or any type of group booking. Having the whole space to our board and staff gave us a home base for events throughout the weekend and also a real sense of "togetherness" while still having our own rooms to retreat to.

We held a family reunion at our home in Jacksonville, and needed to find a place that could hold the majority of our guests. We decided to buy out the entire hotel and keep the group together ~ and it was the perfect choice. All of the guests called the Magnolia "charming", loved the space and decor, the close proximity to town and our home. Since they were all together it was easy for people to catch rides, explore locations together and use it as both a quiet place and (sometimes) a place to continue the party. Jeff was a delight to work with always checking if everyone was ok, or if there were any needs. If you have a large group coming to Jacksonville, I'd highly recommend buying out the hotel - it was truly a second home for our guests. Thank you Magnolia Hotel!

I had a large group of people staying at Magnolia Hotel for a film set we were working on. We had lots of people coming in and out, actors working a few days and then leaving, dates shifting around, late check outs, early arrivals, an unexpected dog... LOTS of moving parts. Jeff was sooo accommodating, flexible, understanding, and kind. In this day-in-age it seems so rare to encounter a business owner who genuinely cares about you as a customer, but that was our experience here. It was really easy to make changes for our group booking. Jeff's communication was 10/10. Not to mention the hotel itself.. WOW. It was so cozy... think English BNB where everything is updated and they paid attention to every detail and so so BEAUTIFUL. It was such a delight being in a space where it is abundantly clear the owners have thought through all the aspects of the guest's experience. Our team raved about the comfort of the rooms, but especially the beds. And what a treat to wake up and have coffee and breakfast waiting for you to have with the group. It was a special way to start the day and really brought us together in a way we weren't expecting. Thank you Jeff for an incredible time. I'm already planning my next trip up to Jacksonville to stay at Magnolia.

Such a beautiful hotel! It was cozy, and modern, clean and refreshing. Loved the outdoor fire pits and bar as well as the upstairs common area. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets! It is extremely close to downtown for shopping, coffee, or a drink and also close to many hiking trails. My church rented the entire hotel for our women's retreat. The owners let us use the whole kitchen to prep our meals. It easily accommodated our 25 women! Every room was unique! There were fans and heaters in every room. My bathroom was completely remodeled. I felt like a queen in that glass shower! They have an eye for detail and what is lovely. I will definitely be staying again!

My friends and I do an annual bicycling trip. Most nights we camp. As we’ve aged, we’ve begun adding a stay with a bed and a shower along the way. This year eight of us stayed at the Magnolia. Wow. Fun. Comfortable. Accommodating. Great value. Easy walk to all that Jacksonville has to offer. It’s a terrific place with a terrific owner. I know I will be back.
